I Hate Doctors

Today I was suppose to finally get my stents removed and I had been looking forward to this day about as much as I had been looking forward to giving birth. I swear the pain of these stents have become unbearable since I have given birth. When I sit I am ok, but just standing is so painful and when I walk I just want to throw-up from the pain. But anyways, when we went in for my appointment today the doctor who was going to remove them said he wanted to do a CT Scan to make sure that everything looks ok before he takes them out so he doesn't take them out and something should happen. I couldn't get in today for a scan so there went my chance of getting my stents removed today. I was so upset. The earliest I could get in for the scan was the 2nd, but the earliest I could be seen again to get my stents out was the 23rd. Once I heard that I about had a nervous break down. I couldn't help but cry. I had been in so much pain for so long and had been looking forward to today for so long and really just want to feel normal again. I want to be able to hold Branden and walk around with him and take him out in his stroller. Once the nurses saw how upset I was they got me in to get my stents taken out on the 3rd. I am not really sure what they did, but he was blocked out, I think for a meeting, but I will be seen now next week. So basically today was a waste of a drive. Hopefully next week everything will be taken care of and I will be feeling back to normal.

3 weeks and 2 days old

Yesterday we took Branden in for his circumcision. Everything went well. There was 3 other babies getting it done too. I was the only mommy crying though. He did so good. He wasn't crying when they took him or when they brought him back. He was so brave! They watched him for a few hours after and then we got to bring him home.

Friday I finally get my stents taken out. I am hoping finally I will get some pain relief after they are out.

So far Branden has been a pretty good baby. Only crying when he is hungry. Which is every 3 hours. He sure is a eater. He was 7 lbs 2 oz at birth and is already 7 lbs 12 oz. Here he is getting ready for a stroller ride

He wasn't excited about his first bath. He was happy to be out of the tub.

More Pictures of Branden

Things here are still going good with Branden. He seems to get bigger everyday. Last night we gave him is first bath in his bath tub. He didn't like that to much. He has been doing really good at night these past couple of days. At first he would only sleep if he was in bed with us, but now we have him sleeping in his bassinet and only waking up once or twice a night to get feed. My parents leave in a couple of days, that sure will be an adjustment for us because we will have had all this help and now we will be doing everything on our own now. Plus David goes back to work on Monday so it will be a big adjustment for me. I am still in a lot of pain when I walk around. So I try and sit as much as I can. If the pain continues I will go to the doctors and get it checked out. I love my swing!

First time in my bouncer. It vibrates, plays music and lights up!

Its hot here, so I like to just be dressed in my onsie.

Happy Birthday David

This past weekend we visited a castle and the largest wine barrel in the world where we were able to eat dinner at. The food was really good, we all the got the same thing. The weather was so nice out we ate outside.

Yesterday was David's Birthday! We spent most the afternoon at Branden's 2 week appointment. Everything went really well. He has gained weight and grown a little bit. They had to give him a shot. I cried more then he did. My mom made David a cake for his birthday so sang to him and had cake and ice cream after dinner. I made him his favorite dinner for his birthday.

Branden loves spending time with his daddy!

2 Weeks Old

Tomorrow Branden will already be 2 weeks old! The time sure has gone by fast. It has been really nice having my parents here to help us out. We have been able to get in a few naps with them here, so I will miss those when they leave. We all fight over who gets to hold Branden. He already knows he is spoiled. He is a super good baby, probably because everyone is always fighting over him. We bring him in tomorrow for his 2 week check up. He seems to have grown so much since he was born, I can see such a change.

I love my Grandma!

I love my Grandpa!
