Happy New Years Eve

We hope everyone has a Happy New Years Eve. We really aren't doing anything special tonight, just spending it at home. We bought Branden his own special bottle of sparkling juice for tonight because once he saw us drinking champagne he would want some, so this would solve the problem. He actually really enjoyed the taste of it, I wasn't too sure if he would because of the bubbles.

Are we going to open this...or just take pictures??

All ready to go outside with Dad on the last day of 2008!

Only 19 degrees out today...brrrr

The Best Present

Here are a couple sweet pictures of Branden sleeping under the Christmas tree. It would be just the sweetest thing ever if he went and did this himself, but he didn't. He fell asleep on the couch watching a movie, so I thought what a cute picture it would be to get him sleeping under the tree like a present. And then when David got home I told him there was an early present under the tree waiting for him.

Christmas Eve

We opened gifts from family on Christmas Eve. It actually worked out good because most of the packages arrived the day before so we didn't have to wait too long to see what was inside. Thanks to everyone who sent us gifts. We loved everything. We had a nice Christmas, but glad to know it will be our last Christmas away from family.

Here is Branden in his new cowboy outfit from Grandma Linda and Grandpa Ron.
He looks so cute in his new cowboy hat!

Christmas Morning

Santa Came! When I got Branden out of his crib this morning I asked him if he thought Santa came down the chimney last night and brought him presents, so he was pretty excited to get down stairs. He ran straight to the tree looking for his presents from Santa. He first noticed his candy in his stocking and then all the presents. It took him about 2 hours to open all his presents because he would open one and then have to play with it for awhile. By the end of gift opening though he did open one gift and then ask for another one right away...like keep them coming. He loved all his gifts! It was fun watching him get so excited. Santa knew just what to bring him...motorcycles, cars and a guitar...all his favorites! Of course lots more! We are going to have to go through his toys this weekend and make room for all the new toys.

David bought me a new camera for Christmas! Here are just a few pictures from Christmas morning.
New cars...he has been wanting cars where the doors open and close

Another guitar...his 4th one!

Silly Branden

We are pretty much all ready for Christmas over here. So happy it will be the last holiday we have to spend away from family. But also it will be nice because we will get to just relax and focus on Branden. I can't wait to see how excited he gets when he sees what Santa brings. We have decided to open just a few presents on Christmas Eve and then open the rest on Christmas Day. Since my family always does Christmas on Christmas Eve and opens gifts then and David's family celebrates Christmas Day, we thought we would do a little of both our families traditions. David actually has to work Christmas Eve:( but when he gets home we will do a small dinner and then Christmas Day we will go to our friends for a little bit.

Here are some silly pictures of Branden. The first few are of Branden after he woke-up from a nap. He had the craziest hair ever! And then the rest are of Branden and his jelly face. He just makes me smile!
