So Hot Here

It was so hot out this weekend, upper 80's lower 90's. So we spent a lot of our time outside with Branden playing in the water. I don't think the heat phases Branden he just goes and goes. Its a good thing he loves to watch Elmo and The Wiggles, so at least he will sit down for a minute and take a break and drink some water so he doesn't get heat stroke.

Branden was so funny this weekend. David started to pull some weeds and putting them into a pile then Branden started to the same thing following David around pulling weeds. Then every so often we would find him pulling weeds. What a good helper we have!

Branden knows 3 animal sounds now. Cat, Cow and Elephant. And with the elephant he puts he arm up for his trunk. Of course he will never do it on cue, so we can impress anyone with his talents. But he can really do....He is so smart!

Branden got 2 of his bottom molars in this weekend. Poor thing has been teeth so bad. But glad they finally came in.

Always Helping

Branden loves helping around the house. He loves to help do the dishes. He will stand next to the dishwasher and take everything out and hand it to me so I can put it away. So far we have only lost one plate because Branden was taking the plates out too fast so he just dropped it on the floor so he could grab another one. Oh well!

He also loves to help with the laundry. He pulls the clothes out of the basket for me to fold. Sometimes he unfolds the ones that have already been folded if I put them back in the basket, but it keeps him busy for awhile so I don't mind.

Branden loves to sweep! But he gets so frustrated because the broom is way too big for him, so it his hard for him to move it around easily. Hopefully we can find a kids size broom for him soon or we are just going to cut the handle of the broom for him before he looses his mind trying to sweep.

Here is Branden helping mow the lawn. Of course we really wouldn't let Branden help mow the lawn, that would be dangerous. Here in Germany they don't use gas mowers, you actually plug in your mower so you have this long cord following you around while you mow. Seems like a huge pain. So after David was done mowing the yard, he let Branden push around the lawn mower a couple times. He loved it...he looked so proud doing it!

Yep, he already takes out the trash! And he likes doing it. I wonder how long this last?

Naked Baby

It has been so hot here, so the other night we let Branden run around in the yard naked and play in the water. Of course he loved it! What baby doesn't like to be naked? He kept running around, he thought it was so funny to be naked outside. And now we have some cute pictures to show is girlfriends when he gets older. David has really gotten good at taking pictures with our camera, so they turned out really cute.

Our Little Rocker

Branden has really gotten into playing the drums, well when he isn't watching Elmo. He use to just stand up and play, but now we set up the drums next to the couch so he can sit and play. He knows how to hold the drum sticks really well and can keep a pretty good beat. He even will play along with David while he plays his guitar. We are still looking into getting Branden his own real drum set, so hopefully soon. We know he would love that! Branden also loves to bang on the pots and pans. He can get them out himself and then he just goes to town with the banging.

Branden got all dressed up for Father's day. He looked like such a big boy in his little polo shirt. He really didn't want to get his picture taken, but we got a couple cute ones.
